Born in Stockholm, Morgan came to photography the way most good things arrive – through something else entirely. A lifelong devotion to motorcars led him, in his younger years, to pick up a camera. He never put it down.
“I’ve been fascinated by mechanical things for as long as I can remember. That passion has taken me on an incredible ride, working with amazing people and capturing some of the world’s most stunning pieces in places I never imagined I’d find myself.”
His work concerns itself with the intersection of automotive culture and the good life – unhurried, warm, and cinematic. The visual language is rooted in the 70s, when things were built to last and beauty was not yet in a hurry. His images feel less like documentation and more like memory. Light that lingers. Details that matter. The finer things, rendered timeless.
Among the work he holds closest is The Aurora – a gathering where motorcars are not the backdrop, but the heartbeat. It is, in many ways, the clearest expression of his craft.
When not behind the lens, he is either behind the wheel of something classic, playing guitar in his band, or nursing an Old Fashioned somewhere worth the trouble of getting to.
